This place is decorated with little canvas squares with notes by presumably famous people written on them in Texta.
No tables here. Everything booked out all night. No chance of anything opening. Eventually, I'm told I can wait at the bar, but there's no guarantee of anything.
After about ten minutes, I'm seated. :) A group has failed to turn up.
The menu here is famously abstract and minimalistic.
At the Hilton, on Victoria Square.
The waiter is adamant that the steaks are the best things on the menu. I usually avoid steaks, as they all tend to be boring and similar, but I'll try this one.
On the lake's edge here, at West Lakes. This is the only restaurant in this part of town that's in my Top 50.
Waitress asks me if I'd like to see the specials. But I know the best stuff is on the tried-and-tested menu, not on the specials list that the chef might've thought up this morning.
This place is a bit of a warren of restaurant tables, but since my last visit, they've simplified it a lot. You can sit anywhere now, and get the same menu.
This is my equal-highest score of all time, scoring 9/9 on my last visit. I'll see if it holds up this time. :)
On the banks of the River Torrens here. Nearing 8pm, it's still 36° here, so the place is packed with people escaping the heat.
The place has a little lounge section for loafers like me. After ten minutes, I'm seated. I could sit out on Pop-Eye, but I don't think table service extends that far.
Being away from the restaurant strips of the city, parking up here is easier.

This place is one of the few Native Australian restaurants in Adelaide. There's kangaroo, crocodile, and emu, which I haven't seen on a menu, or eaten.
Last restaurant in North Adelaide in my Top 50 run. Parking is slightly easier at the end of O'Connell St. than in the middle of the restaurant cluster.
Out at Mitcham. This place is hard to get into, so it's one of the few places I'd recommend booking for.
