After attending a restaurant with a locked door, chairs on its tables, and no service, I've had to make other plans.
For a place that looks like a simple seaside cafe, it's actually quite expensive (and fairly good.) Main courses average above $30. One other customer walks out after looking at the menu.
Apparently this place came 4th in a global paella competition. They have a whole wall advertising this fact.
I gave their paella 7/10 last time I was here. I wonder if there will be a wall for that too. :)
On Halifax St. Parking is always much easier at isolated restaurants like this.
Starting my run of North Adelaide. Had great Tapas here last time, but this time, I've been recommended the paella. On my second run, I try to order something completely different.

Lack of fancy dishes here. Lots of pasta, pizza, schnitzels. Presence of chips is a bad omen. Fancy places don’t do chips.
Sitting at bar. Better than most bars I’ve sat at. Place has huge ornate glass windows and long bench seats. Very intricate and taverny.
