January 2014
I was looking forward to coming here. There's nothing like this place in Adelaide. In the middle of a small vineyard, the service here is super-fancy.
I know the waiter, but I'll still expect the same classy service.
There's now a single menu of seven courses for a slightly higher price.
This whole place is about three metres wide, with a slightly uncomfortable park bench seat along one wall, and a walkway along the other.
This place is very dark, and there aren't any light spots anywhere, so this Feed Report's pictures will be the stark type that use the flash, unfortunately.
Getting towards the end of my Top 50.
Waitress recognises me. Not bad after a gap of several months since my previous single visit. :)
Currently my highest-rated restaurant. I gave this place two nine-out-of-ten scores last time.
After a forty-degree day, every man and his dog is down here. I end up sitting outside, but these tables and chairs are fine, and it's still warm.
Getting towards the end of the Feed Report Top 50.
Back at Ambient, right near the tram terminus, at Glenelg.
People at these places are starting to remember me. :)
Numerous restaurants are randomly not open yet, for the new year. Luckily this place is right next to Bistro Dom, which is closed.
This place is most noticeable for its 60's decor. Apparently it's reopening night, but it seems really quiet.
