More North Adelaide. There’s a nest of eateries I’m going through up here. This is another sixties retro decor place. I’m currently sitting on the removed front seat of a Kingswood
Parking impossible up here, at the heart of O’Connell St, on a Saturday night. It’s as bad as the north of the CBD, but with no car parks. Tapas tonight. Eating two different dishes
Japanese and Korean restaurants share a door and staff. Place is very full, so I’m sitting in the Korean part but ordering from Yakumi.
Fairly upmarket Italian restaurant. New menu, so no hints as to what’s the best dish. Just have to pick for myself.
First Feed Report since launching as proper website. I hope this works.
At the Hilton Hotel. 15 minute wait for a table.
5 SLOW-ROASTED PORK SHOULDER With garlic duck fat potatoes, roasted onion, salsa verde and glaze. The pork here is standard pork, but saltier.
A bit fancy here. Have to dodge the pâté, foie gras, and other filthy offal.
Proper kitchen has closed at 8:15. Have to order from “Casual Menu”. Only one non-pedestrian thing on here. Also not clear here where the restaurant begins in this building
Lack of fancy dishes here. Lots of pasta, pizza, schnitzels. Presence of chips is a bad omen. Fancy places don’t do chips.
