July 2014
I've been to a restaurant by this name before, but it definitely wasn't in North Adelaide.
Turns out this restaurant is another outlet owned by the same people as the one in Hyde Park.
Ahh, Rigoni's Bistro. With a score of 4 and 3 last time I was here, this is my current lowest-scoring restaurant in Adelaide. However, it ranks fairly highly on Urbanspoon, so I thought I'd give it another try.
There is a table free, but it's a little bit squashy. The red fire hose reel is centimetres from my head. If the food is bad again, I may just deploy it. :)
I'm giving this place a second go. If I said I liked it last time, I'd be lion. ;D
This place is very fancy for a hotel that contains bars, pokies, and other non-fancy stuff.
This place is super expensive. Main courses average around $40.
There's no one here except me. That means I should get extra-extra good service. :)
At Augé, a place for fancy people.
That's oh-ZHAY, darlings. Never mind. You wouldn't understand.
Giving Press another go. It's highly recommended, and a bit unusual. Will be doing a number of little dishes this time.
On Halifax St. Parking is always much easier at isolated restaurants like this.
Back at my favourite restaurant. Wouldn't have come here again so soon, but I have interstate guests. They're Brisbane hicks, so I'll show them the cultured side of Adélaide.
There's only one thing still on the menu, that I've had before. So there's no shortage of new feeds to try.
As part of my new cycle, I'll be including a few "second chance" places. This is places that deserve a second look, not places that are just crap.
On my last visit here, the chef goofed, and I was served overcooked rabbit.
The place is packed. I'm offered a table, but only for fifty minutes.
Let the feeding begin!
You may have heard of speed reading. Tonight will be speed-feeding. 43 minutes left.
It's very dark in here. Photography may be on the sub-par side tonight.
I'm on my new Feed Report annual cycle now. However, this new place has popped up, so I thought I'd start here.
My Diet Coke is forgotten by the waiter, but the waitress happily gets it for me.
