Slightly loud, but I’m out late for dinner. Have traded quiet for comfy chair.

With onion soubise, radish, kipfler potatoes.

This looked somewhat amateurish, but I really liked its oversalty, crispy texture, with the straws of zingy fried radish. The potatoes were done in the same salty, crispy batter style. It was reminiscent of eating fish and chips.

Ahh. Music has subsided.

With calvados (a type of brandy) ice cream.

Extremely rich. A bit like eating toffee or maple syrup at times. The fruit is desiccated so much that it’s super sweet and tart. I asked for a second scoop of ice cream. Couldn’t taste any “calvados”.
