Top 50
This place is most noticeable for its 60's decor. Apparently it's reopening night, but it seems really quiet.
This is a somewhat upmarket pub, full of well-behaved 30-year olds. I weave my way through the numerous bar patrons, to the restaurant at the back.
I need to order at the bar, and find myself a table.
At this time of the year, restaurants are often unexpectedly closed. My wish list on my Urbanspoon app points me to the nearest feedery in that case. :)
At Redsalt, the restaurant at the base of the Crowne hotel. I'm being difficult, and asking lots of questions about everything. :)
This place is decorated with little canvas squares with notes by presumably famous people written on them in Texta.
No tables here. Everything booked out all night. No chance of anything opening. Eventually, I'm told I can wait at the bar, but there's no guarantee of anything.
At the Hilton, on Victoria Square.
The waiter is adamant that the steaks are the best things on the menu. I usually avoid steaks, as they all tend to be boring and similar, but I'll try this one.
On the lake's edge here, at West Lakes. This is the only restaurant in this part of town that's in my Top 50.
This place is a bit of a warren of restaurant tables, but since my last visit, they've simplified it a lot. You can sit anywhere now, and get the same menu.
On the banks of the River Torrens here. Nearing 8pm, it's still 36° here, so the place is packed with people escaping the heat.
