2014-2017 Cycle
The place is almost empty. Apparently a band is coming in later. I'll ask if they'd like my autograph. :)
This place is a more authentic Italian restaurant. Many of the staff and patrons are Italian, and the menu is one of the confusing Italian ones.
The older waiter spots me, and welcomes me, shaking my hand.
I'm on Adelaide's trendiest food street - Peel Street.
This place is in the north-east of the CBD, next to Hungry Jacks. If I don't like the food here, I can always go and get myself a Happy Meal. :)
With its low-rise buildings and crap roads, McLaren Vale feels more like a country town than a suburb of Adelaide.
The restaurant is an old house, with an industrial kitchen grafted onto it.
Last time I was here, the place was empty. It still is. The food was good, but that's not a good sign for the business.
I've interrupted an impromptu family gathering here, but the proprietor soon comes to the counter.
I've had an excellent pizza here before, so I want to try again, and see if this success can be repeated.
This complex sits atop a multi-levelled pit, reminiscent of a strip mine. There are hundreds of people here, in the various eating areas.
After a gruelling evening trying on fashions at Country Road, I'm famished. Time to head to the local Mexican eatery.
This place is new. It's at the Mayfair Hotel, on King William St, at the west end of Rundle Mall.
I wonder if I have to pay $2000. I've landed on a hotel on Mayfair. :(
