2014-2017 Cycle
After the holidays, and some very hot weather, the restaurant is booked out. They'll have a table in about an hour, so they take my number.
I head off to a nearby pub, and utilise their couch for a while.
I wanted to go to Matsuri, next door, but those lazy bums are having their one day off a year.
There's a giant conveyor belt of food in the middle, but all the seats around it are taken.
The place is almost empty, even though it's on the main street of North Adelaide.
I think it's an upmarket cafe during the day.
This place isn't super expensive, but I'm giving it a try anyway. It certainly looks fancy. At least it won't leave me in the singa- poor house. :D
This place looks like a little boutique shop in Burnside Village, but is actually a reasonably fancy restaurant. There's not much French cuisine in Adelaide.
The place is packed tonight. I hear a lot about this place, and I know it's popular.
I think this place is new. It's full of trendy decor and people.
I'm sitting at a table with a stool but there are other Mother Viners siting on couches.
Have decided to head into town via ye olde train this evening. I'm going to the casino, and I paid $21 parking last night, near Rundle Mall.
Tonight was almost another Feed Fail. I was on my way to Jasmin Indian, but on the way there, I saw a huge ad on the back of a bus.
7:00, and the place is full. I'm told there will be a table free in 40 minutes. Don't they know who I am??? I'm a guy who writes scathing and ludicrous reviews about restaurants… :|
7:50 and I'm in.
